Project Title

A partnership project between the cities of Maryville and Alcoa and Maryville College, the Clayton Centre plays a pivotal role in bolstering cultural and economic vitality, and expanding the educational offerings, of its community and region. The Main Performance Hall includes a 1,200-seat multi-purpose theatre, a studio theatre, a choral/rehearsal room, music rehearsal space, and educational and community spaces. The Art and Recital Hall houses a 250-seat recital hall, fine art studios, faculty offices and gallery/exhibit spaces. An arts plaza unites the two buildings and serves as an outdoor venue for performances, festivals and special events.
