Museum of the Bible
This new museum, located two blocks from the National Mall, is dedicated to the impact, history and narrative of the Bible. Constructed in the 1920s as a refrigeration warehouse, the building has been adapted to showcase the world’s largest private collection of rare biblical texts and artifacts. TCC assisted with the museum’s 472-seat proscenium theatre and 100-seat lecture hall. The theatre produces drama, musical, and lecture presentations in an intimate setting with balcony and side gallery seating. A digital 3-D mapping technique contributes to the immersive experience for guests.
