Dalhousie University: Arts Centre Addition

In 2014, the University’s departments of Music and Theatre came together to form the Fountain School of Performing Arts, a merger meant to encourage collaboration and new intersections between programs. This expansion project accommodates the School’s new scope and alleviates some of the operational challenges posed by its aging facilities. A 300-seat concert hall is the centerpiece of the 37,000-square foot addition, which also provides new rehearsal and practice space, private teaching rooms, and allows the Costume Studies program to be fully integrated into the School.
