Ostrava Concert Hall
This competition-winning design for Ostrava’s new concert hall will cantilever over the 1960s modernist House of Culture and provide a grand performance space for the Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra. The concept of a ‘perfect acoustic instrument in its case’ proposes a 1,300-seat zinc-clad concert hall with a ‘vineyard style’ seating arrangement.
